Graduate work in Geography has been offered at The Ohio State University since the early 1920s. Currently, the Department offers programs leading to the Master of Arts and the Doctor of Philosophy degrees. At both levels, an emphasis is placed on two of the requirements for present day geographers - theoretical understanding and methodological skills. Please note that we rarely accept applicants for any semester other than Autumn Semester and if you want your application to be given full consideration for funding/admission then please have your application complete by the below dates:
*University Fellowships and Graduate Associateships (International)-November 30.
*University Fellowships and Graduate Associateships (US)-December 30.
*Notifications of such awards are made beginning March 15.
