This
site is designed for Near Eastside Columbus residents and community organizations
that need maps and information about basic resources in the neighborhood. The
site also has maps and information about the vibrant history of the
neighborhood. Use the links to the left under
“Site Navigation” to find specific maps and information about the topic that
most interests you. All maps are
available for download (as PDF) using the links on the left. Maps
were designed by Ohio State University students with the help of local community
organizations and residents as part of the Geography 580S course instructed
by Ola Ahlqvist & Tim Hawthorne. This
project is a partnership between the OSU Department of Geography
and the OSU
African American and African Studies Community Extension Center (AAASCEC).
